Three times winner of National Award, Sudhir is an Indian film director and screenwriter known for directing the films Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi, Dharavi, Chameli and most recently Afwaah. He had also been the scriptwriter and assistant director for the highly acclaimed film Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron. He has been honoured with the Chevalier of the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres from the French government.
