Puneet Sharma is a Hindi poet, screenwriter, dialogue writer, and lyricist. Sharma gained acclaim and internet popularity with his poem "Tum Kaun Ho Bey?" during the anti-Citizenship Amendment Act protests. This poem went viral and was later used by a member of parliament to express dissent in the Loksabha. His other notable works include Aurangzeb, Sanju, Bareilly Ki Barfi, Gulabo Sitabo, Laal Kaptaan, Doctor G, Dhamaka, and The Great Indian Murder, which won him the Indian Telly Streaming Award.
