Hardik Mehta works both in fiction and non-fiction formats. His documentary Amdavad Ma Famous won the National Award for Best Non-Feature Film along with several other awards and honours across international film festivals. He made his directorial debut with Kaamyab followed by Roohi. He received Filmfare award for Best Story & Screenplay for co-writing PaatalLok.
