Born in Dublin, Ireland in 1969, Emma Donoghue is an award-winning writer who lives in Canada. She is best known for her novels including the international bestseller ROOM (2010, shortlisted for the Man Booker, Orange, and Commonwealth Book Prizes) which she adapted into a 2015 film starring Brie Larson for which Donoghue was nominated for an Academy Award. Her 2016 novel THE WONDER is coming out as a feature film starring Florence Pugh (co-adapted by Donoghue) from Netflix in 2022. THE PULL OF THE STARS (2021) is her latest bestseller and she is developing it for a film.
