Praveen Kandregula is the writer and director of the critically acclaimed Telugu film, Cinema Bandi. Before he stepped into the world of films, he studied Engineering at GITAM University in Visakhapatnam. His passion for cinema dates back to his childhood when his clamors for storytelling were nurtured by making films with his friends. That led him to study cinematography at Whistling Woods International and absorb cinema from all across the world including his favorites Akira Kurosawa and Stanley Kubrick. Through the years he has directed several ad and short films. After a brief stint as a cinematographer for few Telugu feature films, he rediscovered his urgent desire to voice a story by himself. He is currently working on developing his second feature film.
