Aarzoo Khurana is an Indian wildlife photographer, educator, and conservation storyteller whose journey from the courtroom to the wilderness is truly inspiring. An advocate by profession and an artist by heart, she left behind a conventional career in law to follow her lifelong fascination with nature and the wild. Her passion for photography began at an early age, and over the years, her lens has captured powerful and intimate moments across India’s forests — from tigers in Central India to elephants and rhinos in the Northeast. Aarzoo is best known for her ambitious Project ATR (All Tiger Reserves), through which she became the first person to document all 56 tiger reserves of India, traveling in a roadtrip to raise awareness about wildlife and conservation. A Sony Alpha Ambassador, Aarzoo also conducts workshops and masterclasses, helping aspiring photographers understand the art, ethics, and emotion behind powerful storytelling. Her work has been featured by BBC Earth, National Geographic, Discovery, and Reader’s Digest. Through every frame, Aarzoo hopes to make people pause, look closer, and fall in love with the wilderness — because, as she says, “You can only protect what you truly connect with.
