India Film Project
Filmmaker
Shlok is a mountain of ingenious ideas. Ideas that make him travel the world. His passion for making films is incalculable; so much so that he ended up shooting a full-length feature film of 90 minutes (Zoo) with a crew of just 10 odd people. Shlok’s entry into the spectrum of commercials has resulted in some brilliant advertisements such as the stirring ICICI Prudential film, the World Heart Day film or the extremely funny Wild Stone commercial. He manages to toy with his scripts and brings about an almost child-like innocence in his characters. Not to mention the high level of improvisation he does while shooting his films. Shlok is a tactful worker who carefully monitors every stage that leads up to the project’s completion. Not restricted by genre, he doesn’t fear jumping into different territories; the 2014 feature film Haraamkhor being the perfect example of the same. Patience and calm are his mantras to make a film effective.
