Vikas Swarup is a renowned author and Indian diplomat who gained global recognition with his debut novel, ‘Q&A.’ The book, which won the Boeke Prize in South Africa and the Prix Grand Public at the 2007 Paris Book Fair, was adapted into the Oscar-winning film ‘Slumdog Millionaire.’ Swarup has served as the High Commissioner of India to Canada, Secretary (West) at the Ministry of External Affairs, and as the official spokesperson for India's foreign office.
