Vikas Swarup is a renowned author and Indian diplomat who gained global recognition with his debut novel, ‘Q&A.’ The book, which won the Boeke Prize in South Africa and the Prix Grand Public at the 2007 Paris Book Fair, was adapted into the Oscar-winning film ‘Slumdog Millionaire.’ Swarup has served as the High Commissioner of India to Canada, Secretary (West) at the Ministry of External Affairs, and as the official spokesperson for India's foreign office. His second novel, ‘Six Suspects,’ was adapted into the web series ‘The Great Indian Murder’ on Disney and Hulu. His most recent book, ‘The Girl with the Seven Lives,’ was published by Simon & Schuster India. His works have been translated into 47 languages worldwide.
