Sooni Taraporevala, award winning screenwriter of the iconic films Salaam Bombay, Mississippi Masala, The Namesake, decided to plunge into direction when she was 50 years old with Little Zizou. Since then she has written and directed the Netflix original Yeh Ballet. She has just completed creating, show running, co-writing and directing Waack Girls, a 9 episode series for Amazon Prime. She believes age is just a number and you CAN teach an old dog new tricks.
