Rahul is an award-winning filmmaker who has worked as a producer, director, and scriptwriter in various genres and platforms. He has collaborated with acclaimed director Mira Nair on several projects, including The Reluctant Fundamentalist, Queen of Katwe, and A Suitable Boy. He made his feature film debut with Gulmohar, a family drama starring Manoj Bajpayee and Sharmila Tagore, which released on Disney+ Hotstar in 2023. He is also the director of Azaad, a short film that was showcased by UNESCO and won the Best Short Film Award at the Indian Film Festival of Houston.
