Akshata Samant is the Head of Creative Development at Civic Studios, where she leads a team of creative producers to develop impactful and commercially successful projects. She manages the entire process from concept to release, aligning content with the studio's vision. Previously, as Showrunner at Dice Media, Akshata worked on popular series like Little Things (Netflix), Crushed (Amazon MX Player), and What the Folks (YouTube). She founded Cine Pitara, directing and producing content for brands such as Godrej Interio, Ray-Ban, and JioSaavn. Akshata also assisted Dibakar Banerjee on Detective Byomkesh Bakshy and has held roles at Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra Pictures, Walt Disney, and Percept Pictures, showcasing her versatility in creative development, stakeholder management, and cross-functional leadership. A valedictorian from Symbiosis Centre for Media & Communication, she is passionate about creating meaningful content.
