Akhil Katyal is a poet based in Delhi. He is the author of 'Like Blood on the Bitten Tongue', a book of poems set in the city of Delhi. He won the The Great Indian Poetry Elective Editor's Choice Award for his book 'How Many Countries Does the Indus Cross'. He translated Ravish Kumar’s book ‘Ishq Mein Shahar Hona’ into English as ‘A City Happens In Love’. He teaches creative writing at Ambedkar University Delhi.
