Doodle Mapuls is a Mumbai-based street art collective founded by Kirthi Pillai, Amal Nair, and Yash Shetty- three friends who met while studying architecture and turned their shared passion for visual storytelling into a dynamic creative force. Since forming the collective in 2020, the trio has transformed over 400 walls across Mumbai with their bold, hand-drawn "doodles"- artworks that merge Indian street culture with graphic playfulness and architectural detail. Their work is instantly recognizable for its layered narratives, blending contemporary commentary with hyperlocal visuals. In addition to public art, Doodle Mapuls operates as a multidisciplinary design studio, offering services across graphic design, branding, and campaign art. They've worked with global giants like BMW India and Disney India, and have expanded their artistic footprint through products like hand-illustrated carpets, wearable art (shoes), and limited-edition prints. In 2025, their boundary-pushing work earned them a spot on Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia – The Arts, cementing their position as one of the most exciting young voices in the Indian art scene.
