Parizad D is a photographer, filmmaker, and visual artist based in Mumbai. She began her career as a commercial photographer, working with prominent clients such as Meta, Netflix, and Sony Music, and was featured on the cover of ‘Asian Photography’ as an emerging talent. Her work has appeared in ‘Hindustan Times,’ ‘Mid-day,’ ‘Vogue,’ ‘Grazia,’ ‘Rolling Stone,’ and more. Her debut photobook, ‘Dear Melancholy,’ was longlisted for the Toto Funds the Arts Photography Award. She has been a finalist for the Inception Grant and Tacita Dean Award and performed her audiovisual projects at cultural venues like G5A, NMACC, and BIC.
