Balram Vishwakarma is a non-fiction storyteller based in Mumbai. Currently, he is engaged in documenting the lives of individuals within Mumbai's labour class from unorganised/gig economy-based sectors who are self-employed. The overarching goal of his project is to dispel misconceptions, biases, and stigmas associated with certain professions while fostering humility, compassion, and respect in the hearts of those who engage with these stories. In his day job, Balram is the co-founder of a communications organisation that assists brands in their social outreach and communications.
