Intimacy Coordinator
Aastha Khanna Bhardwaj is India’s leading intimacy coordinator and director, and the first certified intimacy coordinator/director in India. She has worked with the country’s top studios, streamers, and filmmakers to pioneer ethical, creative, and emotionally intelligent intimacy work in film and television. Her approach merges consent, choreography, and performance psychology to help actors and directors tell vulnerable stories safely and truthfully. She is the founder of The Intimacy Collective and The Intimacy Lab, spaces that bring together art, psychology, and embodiment to reimagine how intimacy is created — on screen, in relationships, and within ourselves. Trained in Film and Television Production, Aastha’s background as a writer and filmmaker shapes her sensitivity to story, tone, and performance, allowing her to bridge artistic intention with emotional integrity. As a Somatica Method practitioner and intimacy coach, she extends this work beyond the screen, guiding individuals and couples through the real-world art of connection, desire, and emotional safety. Her mission is simple but radical: to make intimacy, in all its complexity, both safe and cinematic.
